About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SupportPage handles information when you visit our website, create or use an account, manage a hosted support page, or submit a request through one of those pages. By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described here.
A business or organization that operates a SupportPage support page may have its own privacy notice. That organization decides how it uses the support requests and other content submitted to its page. Contact that organization directly about its handling of your request.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password and authentication records, organization details, and account preferences.
- Support content: names, email addresses, messages, subjects, phone numbers, custom form responses, attachments, replies, and other information that someone chooses to submit through a support page.
- Subscription information: plan, billing interval, invoices, promotion codes, subscription status, and payment-related identifiers. Stripe processes full payment card details; SupportPage does not store full card numbers.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device characteristics, timestamps, request metadata, and security or error logs.
- Sign-in information: if you use a supported social sign-in provider, we receive the profile information that provider makes available, such as your name, email address, and provider account identifier.
Some support pages may use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. When it is enabled, Cloudflare may process technical and interaction information to determine whether a submission is likely to come from a person.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the website and service.
- Deliver support requests and replies to the account owner, configured notification recipients, and the person who submitted the request.
- Authenticate accounts, process subscriptions, issue invoices, and provide customer support.
- Detect spam, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
- Send transactional messages, service announcements, trial-expiry reminders, and other account-related communications.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Cookies and similar technologies
SupportPage uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management, and remembering basic preferences. Your browser may also receive cookies from service providers used to deliver parts of the service. Disabling essential cookies may prevent account or form features from working correctly.
How information is shared
We share information only as needed to operate SupportPage and for the purposes described in this policy. This may include sharing information with:
- The account owner and notification recipients configured for the support page. Notification recipients may receive support request content and reply by email, but are not granted account or page-management access.
- Service providers that host our infrastructure, store files, send email, process payments, provide authentication, or help us secure the service. These providers may include Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, and social sign-in providers.
- Authorities, advisors, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or a good-faith need to protect people, property, or the security of the service.
- A successor or buyer if SupportPage is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use support requests to build advertising profiles.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain business and support records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and whether an account or support page remains active. A support page owner may control the retention of support content submitted to that page.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections, protected credentials, and monitoring for abuse. Support request attachments are stored as private files and accessed through time-limited signed URLs. Support page logos and favicons are stored as public files so they can appear on public pages and in email. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
If your information was submitted through an organization’s support page, that organization may be the appropriate party to receive your request. You can also contact us and we will help direct your request where appropriate. To opt out of non-essential marketing messages, follow the unsubscribe instructions in the message. We will continue to send essential account and service communications.
International processing
SupportPage and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers and handle information in accordance with applicable privacy law.
Children
SupportPage is intended for businesses and general audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as SupportPage changes or as legal requirements develop. We will update the date at the top of this page when we make a change. If a change is material, we may also provide notice through the service or by email.
